In its skeletal form, Infinitikiss is an ongoing solo and collaborative experimental music project of Nicholas M. Jenkins (drummer, composer, sound designer, illustrator) which draws heavily from electroacoustic music, musique concrète, and modern dance music schools of thought.
Inspired by the works and lives of composers and artists such as Steve Reich, Philip Glass, Tyondai Braxton, John Cage, Eva Hesse, Frida Khalo, Cibo Matto and even Yanni, this alternative outlet blends minimal electronic pieces with lushly ambient sound collage to deliver thoughtful songs of love, loss, and magic: all within the familiar format of modern pop music.
Now beyond a decade in-the-making, this amoebic project strives to continue expanding the possibilities of tastefully harmonizing acoustic and electronic sound while remaining open to interdisciplinary collaboration of artistic visions. (Infinitikiss wants to collaborate with you.)
